Metal 3D
The Metal 3D project began as a part of the Dobříš Centre for Applied Research. Featuring all the advantages of 3D printing of metallic materials, we offer the possibility to be simply the first on the market developing products of unique structure and properties in a range of disciplines. Our RENISHAW AM250 printer works in a high quality protective atmosphere, thus allowing achieving an excellent internal structure of printed parts.More on  www.metal3d.cz

Loop of Waste-water Re-use
Re-use of waste-water is already a common practice (and a necessity) in many countries. With regard to the increasingly long periods of drought, decline in yield or quality of water resources and the ever-increasing cost of drinking water, the re-use of waste-water is also becoming attractive in the Czech Republic. This issue is even addressed by the Institute of Water and Environment at the University of Chemistry and Technology (UCT) in Prague. Thanks to the cooperation with the Dobříš Centre for Applied Research, a loop for re-use has been established. Part of the waste-water from the building of the UCT Faculty of Environmental Technology laboratories will be diverted to a domestic waste-water treatment plant. The water behind the domestic treatment plant will be cleaned using various methods of tertiary treatment and it will be possible to draw it back into the building, using it to flush toilets. As a part of the research activities at the Institute of Water and Environment, the...

Research and Development of New Production Technology for the Production of Measuring and Control Products – Gauges
The project aims to research and develop new production technologies, including 3D printing for the production of control and measuring devices – gauges to measure automotive glass and its experimental verification in practice. The use of scientific knowledge on new materials and technologies and opportunities in advanced engineering programs and manufacturing processes will be implemented in cooperation with the Dobříš Centre of Applied Research (CAVD). The project will provide proven technology.

Research and Development of Innovative Technology for Plant Extraction and Its Application in Producing New Herbal Drinks
The aim of the project is to use the content of biological active substances from plants for targeted and defined preparation of dietary supplements. Selected medicinal and aromatic plants will be used as a source of active, healthy substances. Therefore, it will be possible to offer prepared drinks to children as a healthy alternative to the currently commercially offered, often over-sweetened drinks.

Shaped Solid Biofuel Based on Biomass and Biowaste and Its Use in Boiler Rooms and Wood and Gas Stations.
The project aims to solve the technologies for the production of biofuels in an indoor composting facility and the use of biofuels produced in a wood and gas station and surrounding boiler rooms. The technology will utilise biological drying, aerobic stabilisation and subsequent shaping of a biowaste mixture. The project results will enable doing business in a completely new field.
